The University at Buffalo School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences Department of Pharmacy Practice is seeking an individual to serve as the Coordinator for the NYSDOH Medicaid Prescriber Education Program (MPEP). The MPEP program is one component of a partnership between the New York State Department of Health Medicaid Services and the University at Buffalo, School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
Oversee the transition of academic education from an in-person prescriber visit to largely virtual delivery format.
Coordinate the development of evidence-based content
Identify and work with interprofessional content experts
Work together with the NYSDOH Medicaid team, the Drug Utilization and the Retrospective Drug Utilization programs in identifying educational areas.
Assist with the development of live "webinar" and enduring ACCME education.
Coordinate an outreach program to prescribers (e.g. email, lettering, calling, webpage, social media), addressing flexibility in adjusting the delivery of education.
Prepare and deliver presentations to NYSDOH Board, at professional conferences/meetings as deemed necessary
Evaluate and provide reporting on the outcomes and practice impact based on the program.
