The laboratory of Dr. Zhenjia Wang in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at University at Buffalo, SUNY is looking to hire Postdoctoral Associates. Dr. Wang’s laboratory is focused on engineering and formulating therapeutic nanoparticles for improving the treatments of inflammatory diseases and cancers. The lab is looking for highly motivated individual(s) interested in conducting research within the scope Dr. Wang’s laboratory. The selected candidate is expected to work on existing projects as well as to develop new direction. The work requires mastering the background and skills in nanoparticle drug delivery, fluorescence microscopy, in vivo imaging, biomaterials, immunology, and cancer biology. Dr. Wang’s philosophy is to encourage independent work, stimulate creativity and provide guidance for their career development.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Research and laboratory work related to nanoparticle drug delivery, fluorescence microscopy, in vivo imaging, biomaterials, immunology, and cancer biology
  • Development of independent scholarship and research in the above areas

Minimum Qualifications
 
PhD degree in pharmaceutical sciences, cell biology, pharmacology, bioengineering, polymer chemistry or a relevant field.
