Visiting Lecturer (12 month), Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences

The Department of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University at Buffalo (UB) invites candidates to apply for a non-tenure track Visiting Lecturer (12 month) position. We are particularly looking for candidates who can operate effectively in a team environment and in a diverse community of students and faculty and share our vision of helping all constituents reach their full potential. Essential Functions:
- Teaching and Development of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences courses at the undergraduate and graduate level, especially courses related to pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics, pharmacometrics, protein engineering, pharmacogenomics, and other related topics.
- Demonstrate appropriate knowledge of pharmaceutical sciences, or related field.
- Use University and department learning systems (example, UB Learns) and adhere to good instructional practices (example, published syllabi and holding office hours), especially in a remote fashion.
- Evaluate students’ performance and provide effective feedback to guide student learning and success.
- Responsible for contributing to and maintaining an inclusive and collaborative environment.
