The Eshelman School of Pharmacy (ESOP) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (UNC-CH) is recruiting for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in the Division of Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy (DPOP) (https://pharmacy.unc.edu/divisions/dpop/) . The successful candidate will develop and maintain an extramurally funded research program consistent with one or more of the DPOP focus areas (Pharmaceutical Policy and Economics, Pharmacoepidemiology, Social and Behavioral Health) and work collaboratively with DPOP faculty as well as faculty on the UNC-CH Health Sciences campus. DPOP is an interdisciplinary division and includes many faculty with backgrounds in public health as well as pharmacy who conduct research on a broad range of topics. The successful candidate will also be expected to teach and mentor students in the Division’s Doctoral Program and the School’s PharmD program as well as demonstrate service at the institutional, state, national and international level. PharmD teaching options include evidence-based medicine and research methods, which do not require a PharmD to teach. This academic appointment comes with the rank of assistant professor, associate professor, or full professor commensurate with experience and qualifications based on the successful candidate’s experience.
