My research interests mainly concern the design and development of new anticancer agents with a high level of selectivity for cancer tumors and their metastases. This research will contribute to the development of anti-cancer treatments better suited to the targeted therapy approach which is becoming increasingly important in the anti-cancer pharmacopoeia and in the field of "personalized medicine". My research will ultimately improve the quality of life and life expectancy of cancer patients.
